The symbol for Autism was aptly chosen as a puzzle piece. Not for the missing pieces of the diagnostic puzzle, but for the pieces that make all of us. We are all born with a blank board and as we grow pieces appear and we keep building the puzzle into this clear image. With Autism, we are still revealing the pieces, just in a different order and in the most beautifully unpredictable way.”
